The Calvert County Farmers Market is a very nice market for the Southern Maryland area. In contrast to the La Plata market, this one is indoors, in a shopping center on Route 2-4. There are many vendors (the market is open only on weekends but they are open June through December) featuring fresh fruit, vegetables, baked goods and wood crafts and other items. A nice place to walk around and pick up something interesting.
