Yesterday, Sunday, February 4, 2007 my child and I were at the mall and decided to order a cinnamon roll and drink as we do most we go to the mall and the staff was rude and had the worst attitude I've ever seen. The young lady taking my order was too busy yelling out to someone else visiting down the counter (some personal conversation) she was unable to take my order without asking me several times what it was I wanted. I explained to her that if she would listen to my order and not yell out to the person down the counter she may be able to take my order without any problems. After my order was finally taken, the gentleman that was fixing the drinks I ordered asked me three times what type of drink I had ordered and would snicker after asking me. I asked him if he was doing this on purpose because of the amount of times he asked. He informed me that I did not have to do business with them and asked me if I had an attitude. I explained to him that I could not understand why my order was so hard to understand. He told me to shut up when I explained that I couldn't understand why my order was so complicated. He fixed one of the drinks and told me in a not so friendly way to have a nice day. I asked him about the other drink I had ordered and he threw the cup down and asked the other employees there -if someone else could fix the drink. Another young lady came over and fixed the drink without any problems. I was so disappointed in the way I was treated I could hardly believe it. I was truly appalled and would hope these two employees improve their ability to communicate with the public in an effective way before moving on to other jobs later in life.
