I personally know that these puppies come from "puppy mills" or poor backyard hobby breeders. I know of someone who bought a "purebred" puppy from Bridges and it has turned out to be an obvious mixed breed dog with very poor health/temperment. They paid alot of money for a dog that came from a puppy mill. Bridge's Pets even admited that they no longer get puppies from that particular breeder because she was not reputable. And they don't research where their puppies come from. All of the cute dogs you see in pet stores come from parents that are caged, bred, negleted, abused. All for a profit. NEVER buy a puppy from a pet store! Adopt from a shelter or do some research if you must have a purebred.
