This past October my boyfriend and I hosted a Halloween party.JD bragged about have over 100,000 songs and we met with him to discuss what selections we would like to have played that night.
The night of the party he told us that he would be bringing his own Halloween decorations to set up- that did not happen. As our guest requested songs he denied them claiming he did not have them, or that if the song was not on one of his greatest hits Cd's then he would not play it. We asked for a variety of music to be played- but that night it seemed to be mostly Halloween songs and whatever the DJ preferred.
It just so happens that this was the night that my boyfriend was proposing. He had asked JD the DJ for his assistance in using his microphone.JD was uncooperative from the start. He came to the party and when my boyfriend approached him about playing "our song" after he popped the question he was hesitant to even see if had remembered to bring the CD.
Obviously, he was not very flexible or professional. I suggest to anyone looking for a DJ that will fulfill your wishes to not book with JD your DJ. It was an experience that should have been sweet- but it left a bad taste in out mouths doing business with him.
