After-Movie Dining 6/29/2005

Tea Light Café is a Vietnames restaurant located just beside the new Harkins Theaters at the 101 and Scottsdale Roads, north of Frank Lloyd Wright. A small restaurant with an ideal location for a pre- or post-movie bite, the pho on order is tasty and quick, and the restaurant staff are cheerful, accommodating and eager to please. Because of the location, you might suspect that the prices would be more expensive, but the food is all reasonably priced, quickly served and very tasty. The menu includes large, accurate photographs on the walls, and nothing on the menu is disappointing. Especially fun are the Boba teas and iced coffees, which the Café serves with marble-sized lack tapioca balls and extra-large straws in order to add extra zing to the drink as they pop up into your mouth. A fun stop for young kids whose parent allow them to drink caffeine or for the post-movie crowd to argue about the film just viewed. more
