My Testimony.?
When I went to finish my basement I had a lot of reservations… am I going to get my investment back? How much money will it take to do it right?? What design/layout to go with? Will it match the upper levels? How painful will the process be - managing contractors, dust/mess, cash flow?? As such, I shopped 3 different companies. I ended up going with Joe and JH basements. I couldn't have been happier. Joe showed up with a very personal approach. He helped me through the design based on my needs and put the right living space together. More importantly - he walked through the upgrades that would really make it classy, match the upper levels of the home, and allow me to get the return I needed on the investment. Joe uses steel framing and as such - there was virtually no mess. He was very conscientious of his work environment and provided almost no interruption to our daily lives. The proof is in the work - We truly enjoyed the space he created and everyone that we entertained was blown away with the customization. Well…our plans changed. Normally - in such a quick time after finishing a basement you'd be stuck with the costs when trying to sell your house… well, I just listed my house and according to the realtor and buyers- the basement was the selling point.? I had 14 showings in 9 days - in which time I sold my house for 98% of the asking price. Recouped my entire basement investment and really enjoyed it the 2 years we were in it!?
