I am Russian and I like, occasionally, to buy certain things which are not sold in regular grocery stores...I just moved to the area and this was the first Russian deli I found:
1) Salmon roe - not so good in terms of quality in general, too dry and salty.
2) Sgushionka - sweetened condensed milk- was of very poor quality, very watery. When I tried to make Dolce De Leche (aka boil it in the can...) it took hours above the normal time.
3) Service was awful.
4) Prices weren't adequate.
5) Selection was small and uninviting. Bigger selection of dry and canned goods and a very small selection of fresh or frozen foods.
I figured I would look for a different one, Russian or Polish.
