If you want a place that is consistent in providing delicious food, whether it's lunch or dinner, this is the place to go. Their prime rib is top-notch, their cheese biscuits melt in your mouth, their sea-food entrees are delicious.
The "north country" does not have a huge selection of chain restaurants to choose from like in other more suburban areas. Whenever we want to celebrate a special ocassion or last minute, we want to have dinner out with some friends, we head to the Lobster House. We've never been disappointed.
The staff is friendly. You can stay and not be rushed off if you want to stay and talk over coffee. It is clean and nicely decorated. The prices are fair. The children's menu is priced under $6.00 with many choices under $4.00.
The only thing I would change is their coffee! I have come to enjoy the "good stuff" and I would like them change that.
