Most people who come online to comment do so because they were so moved by a bad experience. I was just looking up their telephone number and saw the negative reviews, and decided to put in my two cents. I have been going to Freddy & Liana's for maybe 10 years now, since I was going to school at UCLA. I can't speak to the women's hair services, since I'm a guy, but I can tell you that a salon is only as good as the person who is working on you. I know that several of the stylists there have very full appointment books and extremely loyal, satisfied, repeat customers.
If you just "walk in" to a salon, sometimes you'll get the person who's standing around idle because he or she isn't very popular. You need to ask around first to figure out who is the best person at the salon, who has the fullest appointment book.
I'm giving this place 5 stars because of the person I use... who is absolutely an expert and already very difficult to get an appointment with, so I'm going to shut up and let you do your research on who she is. ;)
