I went in to the dentist to get a small chip repaired off a crown. I came out having 18 exrays, and an estimated bill for $2,850. It cost me $70 to walk in there and have him order these exrays. I got nothing - not even my chipped tooth fixed. I paid $70 for them to do xrays and tell me what they wanted to do to me. The DR wanted to do 4 crowns, 2 fillings, an extraction - jeez. I was like - what??? He also didn't offer up to show me the xrays. When I said, "Could I see all the xrays and see these cavities and problems you see?" - he was hesitant. Then he said, "you can't really see them so well - but they are there" . He also said - "I can do 2 at once and we can get this done in 3 visits." He also said - all your teeth are fractured, and the fillings are old and will eventually break. He actually said almost NOTHING about why I went in anyway - which was to fix a small chip off a different tooth! He was pressuring me - like "how much do you want me to do today" I can have it done in 2 hours. I was like - you think I have a spare $3,000 in my checking account??? Uh - I need to go home and think about this...talk with my husband. I thought maybe he was having a stressful day or was just being short - but now after reading the other post from CD in Golden I am wary............my husband encouraged me to find reviews of this doctor - and perhaps get a second opinion - bythe way I did not see the doctor listed in the previous review I saw a Dr. Morrison
