Wildlife Art Museum 3/26/2006

The Blauvelt Museum is located atop a hill on Kinderkamack Rd. The entrance is a little difficult to see until you are right on top of it and then you need to drive up a steep hill to get to the museum. There is a small gravel parking lot. This museum features wildlife art and has a beautiful if small gallery. There is no admission fee but they do accept donations. They are open Wed, Thurs, Fri and weekends. Call to make a reservation if you have a larger group. You can see the entire museum in an hour or two without rushing. Be sure to check out the sculptures in the courtyard out front. more
