Poor quality and customer service 12/28/2006

I don't usually shop here, but had received a necklace for Christmas. The first necklace had to be returned before I got it because the giver noticed a diamond missing. They exchanged it for another and when I put it on I noticed a diamond missing on that that one too. No third chance, I went to return it. Now I go for a refund, and expected cash back since it was purchased with cash. I was told that they needed to mail me a check from their home office because they don't keep that much cash in their register. Hello, it was only 200 dollars! I told them that with the holidays, they should be more prepared. I was told by other people that this has happened to them too. So if you shop there, DO NOT use cash. They happily take yours but aren't able to return it. Oh yeah, and the manager was hiding in the back behind his computer the whole time and never came to apologize. more
