Cross Roads is a homeless shelter in Hastings Nebraska that is a true asset to the community. It is currently getting ready to move into a larger facility, so will be able to house more people. They are supportive of the clients, but also do put structure in place and make them tow the line. People can stay there for longer than the few days allowed by many other shelters. They run a tough love type of approach that requires substance abuse treatment if needed or other psychiatric treatment as needed.
