Do not patronize Staghorn. It's employees are racist. I walked in trying to buy something and was followed around by a rude employee pretending to sweep the floor near me as a lame excuse. When I purchased a bag he rummaged through the inside and took out all the stuffing in an accusatory way as if I stole something. I am a polite and decent looking woman with money and I know he acted this way based on my skin color and it is ironic bc the guy was also a person of color. I have contacted the store about this incident with no response. Don't continue to do business with a store that does not care about its customers! I am continuing my complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Do not patronize a store that still participates in racist practices! Customers need to be treated with equal respect. There are plenty of other really nice specialty shops in NYC. Staghorn is over priced, rude, and racist. I would give it zero stars but because I cannot post this for others to see without selecting a star, I have to select one star. Please boycott Staghorn to show them that we will not allow them to treat customers this way. This behavior is not acceptable.
