Centurytel, in my opinion, is the worst excuse for a phone company around. We first started using Centurytel when we moved to this area, because there are no other options for us, other than not having a home phone. Since we have been Centurytel customers (over 5 years) we have had problems with them...some of which are still not resolved. We have been overcharged seventeen times, our services are NEVER connected when they tell us that they will be, and even after they are connected, we are lucky if they work for a month without going down. When we speak to technical support about this, they tell us that they are sorry and will have it up by morning. Morning comes and goes, and still there is nothing working properly, so again, we call tech support. The response we get is that they don't know what is going on, but they will send someone out in two weeks to help. TWO WEEKS?!?! If there was another option available to us for a home phone, we would definately be using it.
