Union Station is, by far, the most ghetto mainstream movie theatre in the District and should be visited only for special movies such as Freddie vs. Jason; the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, or any or the horror flicks where audience participation only serves to enhance comedic value and the overall viewing experience.
Should you desire to watch a movie in silence, opt for one of the other theatres such as Loews in Georgetown or the new Regal in Gallery Place and avoid Union Station like the plague.
