Often referred to as The Red Barn, this barn-turned-thrift-store is run by volunteers with all the proceeds going to the local Pine Rest mental health facility. I wait for the weekly sales. Sometimes they will have all their clothing fifty cents, or a coupon for $5 off your purchase of $20 or more. Their books are only .15 each so that is a pretty good deal as well. They have an upstairs with some larger toys, framed photos, lamps, etc, but if you are under the age of 18 you have to have an adult with you. The actual enforcement of the rule depends on the volunteer. Now, I know this isnt the typical reason most people would visit, but I love their candy selection. Yes, they have a candy counter. And they carry Lotza Fizz. They are small hard candy that fizz when you reach the center. Its only .15. The Rustic Market has been the only place I can find these.
