If you need some things like snacks, cat food, a laundry basket, shamppo, and a picture frame (for example) then Dollar General is the way to go. Your basic everyday items are cheaper there than your regular department store, plus the store is smaller so you can find what you need quicker. Sometimes the store gets a bit cluttered, but that doesn't keep me from shopping there. It just means they got a new shipment and there's more bargains to buy.
