Norwegian Star had engine trouble 6 weeks before we sailed on the Mexican Riviera trip for what was tobe a outstanding Christmas 2005 and New Year.
Sadly NCL failed to tell us until check in at docks, that the itinerary had been changed, and Acupalco (which was our main reason for going) was deleted.
NCL would not enter into talks of why not informed and tried to buy us off with putting -$50 on our bar bill (this was not taken up). Have written to NCL on a few occassions, even one to the CEO Colin Veitch. and they have just ignored all correspondence,
So beware if you sail with NCL just hope nothing goes wrong because we do not think there is anyone at NCL that will care.
