I was so afraid that I was going to have to get a new car and I can't afford one but when I got my cavalier over to the shop Rich had answers for me in just a few hours and it turns out it just needed the fluid changed. I didn't know tha tyou had to change the fludi in a transmission but trust me i'll be changing it all the time now!
