Tasty and reasonably priced 10/18/2006

I'm from Chicago, so I don't know how it happened that I never had Polish food until now. For my appetizer, I ordered the hot dried plums wrapped in bacon. It sounded unusual, but I love bacon and believe you'd be hard-pressed to find a food that doesn't taste good wrapped in bacon. This was delicious! There was no pit in the middle, so the plum was more like a sweet filling to a salty coating. Delicious. My boyfriend ordered the lightly breaded chicken breast for his entree, which was tender and moist, not overcooked. I had the cabbage leaves stuffed with beef and jasmine rice. This was so good! Couldn't finish both leaves because they were pretty big, so I brought one home and had it for lunch the next day. It even tasted good microwaved. :) more
