For so long we had to go to either Augusta, Ga or Aiken, SC if we needed anything from Lowe's. Our little town of North Augusta has always seemed like the red headed step sister of Aiken County. We seem to never get anything in our little town. Well, all that is suddenly changing. We now have our own Lowe's http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=home and it is so nice to be able to just run down the street for our home repair needs.
It is a nice big store and of course it is new and clean. The staff there is friendly and helpful. I do find that they are not stocking as much as the store in Augusta, but then Augusta is much larger than our little town. I feel like, since the store has only been open for about a year, that they will begin to stock more as they see how the store is going to go over in our little town. So far things are looking good, the parking lot is always full, all the "do-it-yourselfers" seem to be keeping them busy.
