I made a mistake by asking when I called to schedule an appointment if this office worked with Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Was told they did. The office neglected to mention that they aren't "in network" with any insurance companies so expect to pay a fortune for their services as they don't get a negotiated rate with the insurance companies and charge a lot of money for their services. What insurance doesn't pay, you pay out of pocket. They also require you to pay for cleaning/x rays out of pocket and up front and will reimburse you once insurance pays. I felt like it was a very deceptive way of doing business. Granted, their pay up front policy was clearly spelled out but they did not mention that they were not preferred which is odd because they have a seperate office for financing, etc. so money talk is obviously big here. The work that was done was on par with anything I've had done in the past but I won't return due to the expense.
