This is a kid-friendly restaurant but the previous review makes it out like it is a kiddie restaurant built to resemble a pirate's house, playing off the theme made popular lately by the movies. This was a REAL pirate's house, even mentioned in Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island! It is one of the oldest houses in Georgia and a sight to see without even eating there. The food is spectacular. We knew we would only have time to have one dinner in Savannah, and my parents were right to recommend this place. I had pecan-encrusted fried chicken and my boyfriend had pecan-encrusted salmon, by far the most delicious use of the word encrusted I'd ever encountered. Our dinner was ready before we were even done with our delicious bread, and this was on a Friday night, granted,a little early (around 6:30). I can't say enough good things about the experience. more
