Unimpressive phone experience 9/21/2006

After telling the person answering the phone what I was looking for, I was put on hold for a couple of minutes at which point she came back on and told me that I would just need to come into the store to see what they have. I said I would not want to make the trip unless I knew that they carried an item that met my specific needs. Went back on hold and then someone else came on and didn't seem to be too interested to looking to see if she had the type of item for which I was looking. Her reply was that "most" of those items that they carry come without the feature for which I was looking--the inferred message being that I would need to come in to see what they have. Neither of the people I talked to gave me the feeling that my request was important to them. more
