I had taken my truck in for a recall and the mechanic that was servicing it had told me that I had to replace my steering gear and the bushing was cracked, and it would cost about a thousand bucks! When I took it to my regular mechanic guy, he looked EVERYTHING over and said that there was NOTHING wrong and nothing needed to be replaced, only a bolt needed to be tightened. Go figure!
