Cheaper at the dealership 11/20/2012

My aunt took our 2003 Chevy Cavalier there for a fuel pump to be replaced. They charged her $1100 for a job a dealership could have done. I inspected their work and found they had ripped off the heat shield instead of drilling the rivets out and zip tied the heat shield back on when they were done. What kind of quality ASE certified work is that? What happens when the zip tie gets brittle and breaks? Off goes the heat shield flying into another car as your going down the road. BEWARE... Stay away from this business. more
