Our house almost caught fire when we negligently forgot to have the vents cleaned. The fire built up in the furnace, as there was no way the air would escape through the clogged vents. Due to this incident, I invited an air duct company to fix the problem. They did massive air duct cleaning and air vent cleaning. Now our fireplace is as safe as ever.
