Revolution is right downtown near Las Olas and has a nice setup for seeing artists perform. They have an outdoor stage, which doesn't seem to see a lot of use, and an indoor stage with a VIP area on the second floor, and second floor balconies on either bide of the stage for elevated viewing. They also have an outdoor bar and balcony with couches that overlooks the outdoor stage. I went here to see a band and admission was well-organized, security was tight without being overbearing, and the bars are evenly spaced enough that it wasn't too much hassle to get a drink. I was there on a night with mostly teenagers though, so it may be different with bands that attract an older crowd. The way the club is set up, there are a choice of a few good vantage points you can get of the band, even if you are short like I am. To get into VIP, you need to buy a bottle per couple, according to the waitress that attended it that night. If I recall correctly, that'll set you back a minimum of $150 per couple.
