Bryant Park is the beach my family always goes to when we want to swim in the berautiful West Grand Traverse Bay. This park/beach is smaller than some of the others in the area but it has what we like. The beach is clean, there are lots of gas grills for cooking, there's a bath house for changing and with flush toilets as well. The outdoor foot shower is nice for getting the sand off before getting dressed.
We were here July 24 to celebrate our granddaughter's 4th birthday. The parking lot is rather small and fills fast but we came at 4pm and found parking. The kids loved playing on the modern playland after swimming and building sand castles. The grown-ups were allowed to have their fun too with some refreshing Margaritias.
This park is easily accessible off the main drag of US 31 north (Munson Ave,). Many workers come with their lunch to enjoy the view. Don't come at mealtime if you want to get a parking place.
