Here in Philadelphia, where the fans are wild and the best, Chickie and Pete's is the place to meet. There are several around the city and this one is close to the stadium.
Before the football games, college and NFL, you can often find some football celebrities set up with their camera crews to interview some players and broadcasting live to the Philadelphia area. The place is packed with all ages, painted faces and Eagle fan wear, hamming it up for the cameras.
Chickie and Pete's has great food and are well known for their crab fries (french fries covered with Old Bay Seasoning), Magooby sandwich (pickles, onions, crab fries, cheese and shrimp), and don't forget to order a dungenes crab! Beer and mixed drinks add to the party atmosphere.
Entertainment on these football themed nights include a stadium-sized screen TV at this address, and big screen TV's at all of them, there may be some sort of competition to show how big a fan you really are, music by some group singing the E A G L E S song, and you may even see some Eagles cheerleaders.
I can't seem to find a website to wrap everything up in one neat package for you, but trust me, if you can get in the door you won't be disappointed. I'd suggest showing up mid afternoon and plan to stay until it's time to leave for the game. You won't want to miss a minute of the pregame show here at Chickie and Pete's.
