Our family went to Shoney's about a week ago for an early breakfast. It was a Saturday morning, so they were busy, which was to be expected. However, the service was still undesirable. We had both a toddler and a baby with us, yet still had to ask more than once for a highchair, and when we finally got one, the waitress placed it in the way of the restaurant traffic. The food was good. Not great, but I've certainly had worse. My husband had to ask 3 times for a refill on his orange juice, waiting over 20 minutes just for a drink. Lesson learned: Although I probably will eat there again in the future, I certainly would avoid them during anytime I anticipate more than a few other customers.
