We used to be regular customers at this restaurant and one day my husband ordered just a sandwich instead of the whole meal off the menu. When it came time to pay for our food, we discovered that we were charged for the entire meal, not just the sandwich, which is what most restaurants do. We haven't been back to the South Side Family Restaurant and most likely will not ever visit again. The server should have told us that there would be a charge for the whole meal when the order was placed, but nothing was said to us until it came time to pay our tab. more
