One of my favorite restaurants is The Golden Corral in Star City West Virginia. It has just recently come to the area. All the food tastes like homemade. It is an all you can eat buffet style. Adults can eat there for $8.99, plus an additional $1.29 for your drink. They have Coke products with free refills. They have all kinds of food. Some of my favorites off of the hot bar are macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, pizza, chicken, meatloaf, pot roast, and steak when they have it. They also have a big selection on their Salad Bar. I love many things on the salad bar. My favorite bar is the Ice Cream Bar They have a big selection there as well. My favorite is chocolate ice cream in a bowl or cone and sometimes I will have Carmel or hot fudge toppings. I have also been known to put my favorite candy M&M’s in my ice cream. The Desert Bar also has a big selection. I like their cupcakes best, but I have been also known to eat their cookies or brownies. They also have a Taco bar with all the fixings.
The only downfall I see about this restaurant is that they do not have automatic doors for people with disabilities and the elderly. That is the biggest complaint I hear and I hear it often. Also I know that they are very busy, but it would be nice if you were not able to physically get your meal. If a waitress could tell you what was on the bars for that day, because they change with each visit. Other than that I have no suggestions to make this restaurant better. It is truly one of the best in town.
