not quite up to its old self after immigration troubles. not nearly so friendly. no more pappadum ("the health inspector does not prefer them"), but sambar, rasam, dosa, uppama, other staples pretty good again. If you had never been to the old Udupi, you'd think this one was great. It's at least pretty good, and certainly one of the few Indian places providing a great meal for vegetarians.
