The Wave is a fun local water park. All the other water parks parks are at least an hour or more away. This is local and fun. Not as big as some of the other "chain" parks but definitely worth the trip on a hot summer day. I have always enjoyed this park. There is a lap pool and water slides and a kiddie area. They have a snack bar where you can get refreshments or you can bring your own. The waterpark is located in downtown so you are close to all the local shops as well. On opening day they have a great costume contest. If you are looking for some place to cool off besides all the sand at the beach, check out The Wave.
