Alas, I went a month or two before the tree fruit season started. All rain, no peaches.
But their peach preserves were delicious. Their baked goods made a tasty lunch. I would eat their peach preserves for a meal if I could. These people are known for growing fruit that actually tastes like it's supposed to, like the Platonic ideal of a peach from your childhood. This is harder than it sounds, in these days of hardcore pesticides and depleted soil and flavorless pink tomatoes in the middle of January. Frog Hollow Farm is the antithesis of all of that, and I want to go there again and again.
