I have been ordering from this company for years and have never had a problem or had to deal with the customer service department. That is until last month when I ordered an Electronic Sudoku Game and was sent Smith & Wesson® Bullseye Combo Kit instead. I had promptly put the return address sticker on the box and walked down to the post office where I was told I would have to pay $6.95. Are you kidding me? Seems that I actually asked that question out loud because the woman behind the counter said no I am not. I paid and when returned home sent an email to Lakeside asking when I would be reimbursed for the shipping cost I had to lay out for their mistake. Four days and three phone calls later I was told that the only way that they would pay that money back was if I had the receipt of payment and had sent the package insured and used the requested return label. I have checked the page more then 5 times to see where it had said that, well it does not say it anywhere, so I made one more call to ask about it and was told that if I had requested a return of shipment label I would not have been charged. Umm, excuse me but is that not what the label that comes with the package is for. No no I was told that is only if you are willing to pay, at which point I was so angry that I told th man that is just stupid and hung up the phone. I did however find out through that phone call that once they received that it can take anywhere from 15-30 days for the correct shipment to be sent out. To me it is rather sad that it took so long to get a straight answer on when and how I would be reimbursed and it took even longer for me to get an answer as to when the correct item would be shipped to me. I am still waiting on the Electronic Sudoku Game nineteen days later. more
