i had the shop across from miss good for 26 years before the building at 809 was condemned. Her list of customers was legendary,from Dick Cavett and Paul Newman to David Bowie and Billie joel I myself ran across the street to wait on burt Reynolds when she was giving her undivided attention to another customer. Her inventory was also legendary ,magnificent garnet pieces,cameos peals aquamarines, spectacular silver, turquoise, trays and trays of unique pieces. When her building was condemned by the city she , at 85 , moved a lifetime of collections to her new location in the 300 block of royal. If you were lucky enough to receive a silk pouch with her business card, she deemed you worthy of her goods and service, but if you were a walmart shopper, you were dismissed before you knew what hit you. She is one of the most magnificent merchandisers on the street, and one of it's most interesting characters.
