I forget sometimes how really enjoyable it can be to eat here. I always remember the bread, it is sooo good, chewy crusted with great flavor and texture. I like the pizza here too, a white pizza with precooked bacon and pineapple, which I know is not to everybody's taste but which I love , is darn near perfect.
We went last week and I said I was disappointed they didn't have pesto on the menu and our waitress said , we can make it for you , and so they did.
While not exactly traditional, there were no pine nuts , it was very, very good. The portion was huge which guaranteed I would get to have two meals. My husband had the spaghetti with meat sauce with meatballs and he also was very happy with his choice and the portion size.
The salads are a little plain but the dressings are good and service was very good.
It was a happy reminder that I really should come here more often.
