I had heard wonderful things about this restaurant for a long time and was just waiting for an opportunity to eat there. It finally happened and I am happy to say was well worth the wait.
Be prepared to spend more than normal for lunch (I didn't have dinner so I can't comment on that) ours ran around $45 for two but it was so worth it.
First the Vermont cheddar soup is luscious, creamy and yet with that little bite that you would expect. A very adult version.
I had a salad which may be the best salad that I have ever eaten, it had fried brie, spiced mixed nuts and strawberries all atop the freshest of field greens.
My husband had the shepherds pie and was very pleased with his choice.
I agree with the previous poster the ice tea was delicious, mango I think.
For dessert I had the lemon semifreddo and it was both lovely to look at and yummy to eat.
Service was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area.
