The Hideout is a great place tucked away in an industrial area on the near north side. They have a stage and host a lot of events, mostly music, but also weirder stuff. I've never been there on a weekend, but I imagine it could get pretty crowded. It's got a nice atmosphere and good music and prices that are on the good end of so-so.
