Completely stiff and out of shape, I arrived at Seattle Tae Kwon Do with no experience but a hope to fulfill a lifelong desire to learn martial arts.
Three months later, I'm amazed by the strength, flexibility, endurance and skill I've developed in throwing kicks etc. Master Lee is an intense and dedicated master who has developed a martial arts curriculum that combines part strength training along with the Korean martial arts. As a person who was new to town and looking to start an exercise training regime I could continue with for years, I find the environment to be a good match for my personality and I hope to continue for years.
STKD is intense but has given me opportunities to make new friends while combining strength, flexibility and martial arts training. With an open environment to all beginners I encourage those interested to try it out! But don't forget your water and be ready for a tough first few sessions!
