The principal and staff are focused on empowering students to fulfill their academic potential, enabling bright, economically disadvantaged children to go on to excellent high schools. The culture is nurturing and supportive; no students cliques - very much a community. It is academically rigorous and demanding; the application process is hard work but worth it for those that are accepted. Definitely for the intellectual, academically gifted child not for those who are struggling at all in elementary school.
