Last week I went into a new men's store, Oslo's a men's store on the top of Queen Anne Hill. WOW! They had everything you could possibly want in hip, cool, trendy fashions for men at any age.
A golden retriever named Oslo with a stuffed monkey in his mouth greeted me at the door. Chad, the barber, was giving a guy a shave and the owner, John McDowell, gave me a big smile and said hello. I felt like I was an old friend.
I found a fabulous Robert Graham shirt and a pair of James Perse pants for my brother's 40th birthday and a Velvetman tee shirt for my 28 year old nephew.
I loved the music videos and found myself groovin to a Doors/Blondie face-off.
John is knowledgeable, helpful, and fun. He wasn't pushy and seemed really interested in my finding the right things for my brother and nephew. I even wound up buying a gift card for a shave for my dad for Father's Day.
It was one of the best shopping experiences I have had in a long time. It was refreshing to be treated like a person and be able to buy for all the men in my life.
I recommend Oslo's a men's store. And when you go- pet Oslo for me.
