I never had a Krispy Kreme donut until I visited a chain out of state several years ago, and it was heavenly! Since then, many locations have opened, and they have some of the best donuts around. They are light and fluffy, and the glaze is a nice sweetness. You can watch them being fried in the store, and when the "Hot Donuts" sign is lit, you can get a free, warm one that melts in your mouth! The other donuts are good, including the "kreme" filled ones, but the original glazed are perfect (you can warm them in the microwave for a couple seconds) with a glass of cold milk. Tasty!!!
