This is a lovely park and museum complex, presented by the Tribune Foundation, celebrating the life of Col. Robert McCormick, past publisher of the Chicago Tribune.
There's lots to see, between Col. McCormick's mansion, kept as a museum, a military museum, plenty of gardens and beautiful grouns.
They charge a modest admission for parking, but it's well worth it.
I've been twice recently and each time was a joy. We liked the first time so much, we went with my sister-in-law the second time to show her.
