Floyd's is all about the ambience. They are catering to the rocker crowd -- posters on the wall, several TVs in view, rock music blaring, and a mostly male clientele. Their haircuts are perfectly fine and serviceable, if you happen to pick the right operator. Haircuts are all about the skill of the individual, in my experience -- it has little to do with what salon they work for. I had a great haircut at Floyd's at my first visit, then a couple months later, I had one that was not quite as good. Still, I would not hesitate to return to Floyd's. No appointment is necessary, and both times I went, my wait was not long. The quick shoulder massage they offer at the end of your haircut is a pleasant bonus.
