If you've never had Ethiopian, you should try it just for the experience. Everyone's entrees are served on one gigantic brown tortilla-like thing, which you pull apart and use to scoop up the saucy food. The Ethiopian tradition mandates that people feed each other as a gesture of friendship...whether this actually happens will probably depend on how deft you are at eating with your fingers and how much you like the person you're eating with. Mudai has little to no atmosphere and the service is pretty slow, but the food is excellent and unlike anything you've had before.
