LOVE, love Schmidt’s. This family owned restaurant, nestled in the heart of German Village is a true gem to Columbus. Can’t find your way (it can be tricky), ask anyone on the street and they can point the way or just follow your nose for the sent of sausage, sauerkraut and German potato salad. Your best bet, if you have never been, is to give the buffet a try to decide which type of sausage you enjoy the most and remember the buffet comes with dessert, so save room for a huge cream puff or take it home to enjoy later.
